Ben has done a lot of developing over the last few months. I just can’t believe he’ll be TWO in a month!

We’ve migrated from the “What’s that” questions to the “Where did the _____ come from”. Yeah! Let me lay out the scene a little. We had gone to dinner with Grandma & Grandpa. Ben was in the backseat with Grandpa and the two of them were talking. Ben asks, “Whaz that?” Grandpa replies, “It’s a branch.” Ben: “Where’d the branch come from?”. Grandpa: “It came from the tree.” B: “Where’d the tree come from?” G: “It came from a seed, planted in the ground that was watered by the rain.” B: “Where’d the rain come from?” G: “It came from the sky.” I’ll stop now, ‘cuz it went on for a while, but it was cute. We’ve had a few more instances like that, but this one was the first and the funniest!

For Mother’s Day, we went out to lunch with Grandma and Grandpa and then went to play at a park here in town. Here are some pics of the day:

Ben likes to “color”. We sit him in a booster seat at the dining room table and give him crayons and paper and he “colors”. Although, he really spends most of the time taking crayons out of the box, “What color is that?” Then you tell him and he puts it back and gets a new one. SOMETIMES, he manages to color on the paper!
