Happy Halloween Parade!

Last night was the annual Halloween Parade. Instead of Trick-or-Treating on Halloween, all the businesses in town make floats and they throw out candy in the parade. It’s a much better way (in my opinion) to celebrate Halloween. Grandpa came with us this year. Ben got a full bucket of candy this year (mostly Tootsie Rolls). Ben was supposed to be a Cowboy, but refused to wear his costume…not even his hat! Sam wore the same Pumpkin outfit that Ben did two years ago. Here are some pics from last night.

The Praying Mathis was my favorite “float”. I can’t remember what organization had it though.

Ben “oooing” at one of the many trucks in the parade.

  1. I can’t believe he didn’t want to be a cowboy! I see he had his horse, though. Dad said he had a good time and loved playing with Sam and Ben.
    Love, Grandma

  2. I love the one where he is oooo-ing at the truck! Funny. And the one with the hourse looks like maybe a ghost is touching him…spoooooky…

  3. Gosh Emily, you couldn’t have corrected my spelling before posting my comment… “hourse” was supposed to be horse…

    :) Sarah the not-so-great speller sometimes…

  4. Honestly Sarah, I read right over it!

That pic was taken with the nighttime setting on the camera…very tricky!
